Update of my life....

First off......it's a BOY!! For those of you who don't know Chris and I will be having a baby boy in April. We are so happy to be having a boy!! I'm very excited:)

Second.....I got accepted to Dental Hygiene School, and will be starting full time ONE MONTH after I have a baby.

I know.

It's kinda freakin me out, and I know it will be the hardest 20 months of my life. But I am so grateful that I will be able to have such a great career and be able to support my family while Chris is in school.

It will be hard, but worth it!!

Trying new things

My twin sister Jackie and I are obsessed with decorating. We decided that we should try to start making some of our own decorations to save money, and to be more creative:) Tonight we painted a picture. I have never painted in my life, so it was fun to try something new instead of just buying it. I definitely need more practice, but here it is........my first painting:)

This last week I have been so excited for fall and Halloween I just want to cry from happiness!! Fall is my favorite time of year, and I love Halloween so so much! I know it's early, but I can't help it! Here are a few things I look forward to every year that make me so incredibly happy....

ENGLAND!!!

Last week I was fortunate enough to go visit the hubby in jolly old England!!! If you haven't noticed, I speak with an English accent quite often so I felt right at home! It was so amazing to be there, we stayed in Cambridge where Chris is taking classes for the summer and we were able to go into London 3 of the days. It was an awesome experience that I will never forget and I'm so grateful that I was able to do it!!!! Here are a few of the billion pictures I took:) In random order.....

Freedom Run!

I love the 4th of July, and to start out the day I ran my first 10k! Melissa and Laurissa ran with me and I'm so glad we did it!! Hope you all had a good Fourth!!!

My life these days....

Where have I been?

Working, and running.

My work is training for a half marathon. I am not a great runner, but I'm trying!! I really love it, but my knees are killing me! WHY? I don't know what I'm doing wrong. If anyone has any advice I would love it!

Chris leaves very soon. It makes me sad.

RV Park Hoppin' Weekend!

This last weekend Chris and I went with my in-laws and the Cope's for a fun little holiday! We took the Crawford's motor home and stayed at a different park each night. Our days were filled with hiking, chillin, hiking, eating, and just enjoying our amazing surroundings! We went to Slot Canyon, Goblin Valley, Dead Horse Point, and the Arches National Park. It was such a fun trip!!!! Here's some pictures(maybe a lot of pictures), but they don't do justice! Go see for yourself!!

I'm obsessed with the Broadway show WICKED. This week my sister and I went to the Capitol Theatre to try and win tickets. Too bad one billion people showed up to do the same thing! They picked 10 names out of a bowl, and they did not pick ours. It made me sad. Maybe I'm still sad. Maybe I'm willing to pay the big bucks. I wonder what Chris would do:)

Little Rascals......

Thank you for being on tv today and making me happy!

Spoiled?

Tonight I was at Target like I am most Friday nights, and I sort of wanted to strangle a certain little girl. Terrible, but pretty true at that moment. There I was, in the kids section looking at their clothes(yes, sometimes they fit me) and I hear loud screaming and crying getting closer to me.

Little girl(maybe 7 years old): "I want them!!! They'll get sold out!!!!! I want them!!!! (She is screaming bloody murder the entire time)

Mom: "They won't sell out, I already bought you jeans yesterday, we aren't buying clothes today."

Little girl: "But I want them!! They'll get sold out!!!! NO! NO!! I want them!!!"

Mom: "I think they are the ones we got, let's go home and check. We are not buying clothes today.

Little Girl: I WANT THEM!!!! (Screaming like she is in horrible pain) (Running around with the pants screaming that she needs them) I NEED THEM!!!! SCREAMING SOBBING SCREAMING SOBBING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


After what seemed like an enormous amount of time listening to the madness, I went into the dressing room. Screaming and crying could still be heard, but eventually, miraculously died down. I have no idea how that mother managed to stop the crying, or even if she did. But I do know that I am now terrified of what this world is coming to, if that is how a seven year old girl reacts when she can't get a pair of jeans.

Boo Sonic

Today I ordered a grilled cheese kids meal from Sonic. When I opened my sandwich, I was surprised to see not a grilled cheese sandwich, but a piece of cheese with two SOFT pieces of bread. It made me very sad, I was starving to the point of sickness. I ate it because of how starving I was, and it made me even more sad. Sonic.....never again. Boo.

It's been a while....

First off, I just want to say that as I am sitting here at the computer, I can hear Chris in the other room filling up the tub for his bath, and whistling "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead" from The Wizard of Oz! It's kind of hilarious.

Anyways....life is a little bit crazy! I work all day, try to learn Microbiology, and try to keep my house decent! I am so tired all the time and I feel like a never have 1 free second to just relax!! I'm not trying to make anyone feel bad for me, I know you all have real problems! I just want to explain my lack of blogging, and I will be better once the semester is over....in April. Boo. I'll do the best I can!

Congrats to Chris!

Chris got accepted to the Pembroke/King's Programme in England! He will be studying there for two months during the summer. I am very proud of him, but very sad that I will be stuck here working while he is in England. I will be able to go visit though so that will be awesome! Well....

It has been quite some time since I have posted anything! I had a wonderful holiday season, and now I am back to work, and sad to say...night school. Wednesday and Thursday nights after work I will be sitting in a classroom for 2+ hours learning about Microbiology and all that good stuff that makes no sense to my brain. Wish me luck, it will be rough!

In other news....two days after Christmas Gary and Kathy took me, Chris and his brother Cameron on a Disney Cruise to the Bahamas. It was an amazing trip that made me so happy and I never wanted to come back!!! Everyone should go on a Disney Cruise and be so happy!!

Random note: I made a few New Year Resolutions including....

*Eat all of the food groups, less of the crap ones that I usually eat
*Exercise at least 3 times a week for at least 30 min.
*Write in my journal every night
*Eat treats only on Sundays (this one may not last)
*Drink more water
etc

Those are just a few of them. I did really well the first day of January, but since the week has almost come to an end I gave myself permission to start next Monday since I didn't do one of those things!!!! Monday I'll be ready:)

Merry Christmas!!!

Life has been crazy busy, so I haven't had time to post! I had a super Christmas Eve and a wonderful Christmas day! I love Christmas and I'm sad it's over!! I can't complain too much because in two days I will be on a Disney cruise!!! Thanks Gary and Kathy:) Last night for Christmas Eve we spent the night at my parents house. We played Mad Gab (funny pictures, especially of my mom and dad who both had to hold their glasses in place to see the cards!) and ate yummy food, and watched Christmas movies all night long. On Christmas morning we went to my sister's house where she had a magically delicious breakfast prepared for us. Then Chris and I went to his parent's house, where I ate a second yummy breakfast, opened gifts, took a nap, and had Christmas dinner! It was a great Christmas and I am so grateful for my family and friends, and all that I have!! Here are some pictures of the good times we had:)

MoTab and Pie!

Last week I was able to go see the MoTab Christmas concert with my family. Before the concert Melissa, Jen, Jim, Liam and I stopped at The Pie to get some delicious pizza. We called ahead to order, and when we got there we discovered we ordered the biggest pizza on earth! It was amazing. It was a great night and I'm happy I was able to go and have fun with the fam.

The Polar Express!!

A guy my dad works with at the temple, and his family, do their own version of the Polar Express each year. They have a little train that holds about 14 people and tracks built in all through their yards. (They all live right next to each other) It was so fun! Here are some pictures, and a little video you can watch of us on the train. Be careful though, you may get motion sickness because of how awesome I record!

Festival of Trees

This was the third year Chris and I have gone to the Festival of Trees, it is now a tradition for us I guess!! It's so fun to look at all the cute trees, but our favorite part is lookin at the gingerbread houses. It's a super time! I suggest you go!!

Work Christmas Dinner

Last night for our work Christmas Dinner the Doctor's took the staff and a date to The Roof restaurant in Salt Lake. It was so yummy and we had a grand ole time! I was very grateful for the fancy dinner and good company:)

Thanksgiving!

We had a super Thanksgiving stuffing our faces two different times. We had a feast with my family in the afternoon, and a feast with Chris's family in the evening. It was a good day, I love family, and food.

Obsessed

I am wasting so much time, and not getting any sleep because I can't stop watching this show. I'm excited for the long weekend so I can finish the 2nd season and get ready for the 3rd!

What a Wonderful Weekend

Last night I saw Twilight. Loved it. Obviously not as good as the book, but I will be seeing it again next week:)
Tonight I went to Coldplay. It was bloody amazing. I danced my little heart out, and I look like a fool when I dance.

No Commission for You Psycho

Today I was attacked, at Buckle in the mall. I was minding my own business, trying on a hat in front of the mirror when one of the girls who worked there stopped in her tracks to tell me that it looked cute. She asked me if it fit, and I said yes. She then told me she knew of the cutest earrings that would go so well with the hat. As she ran to get them, I glanced at Danielle, asking her to save me somehow but I knew there was nothing she could do. The idiot girl came back with the earrings. I told her they were cute and tried to get away but she told me there were also some in black and ran to get those. She brought them to me, and I told her they were cute as well. So I stood there awkwardly holding the hat and two pairs of earrings, trying to find a nice way to put it all back and get the freak out of there. She then asked me if I was only looking for hats. I said I was just browsing. Apparently browsing means I am looking for a pair of 200 dollar jeans. She took me to where her favorite new pair was, and I said they were cute, but I don't want jeans. She then pointed across the store to another pair of jeans that she thought I might like. I said those were also cute, but I don't want jeans. You freaking annoying failure that I want to sniper. That's what I should have said. Finally, by some miracle, she told me to let her know if I needed anything, and she walked away. I can't even remember what I did with the hat and the earrings, I just remember getting out as fast as I could. It's a shame because I really wanted the hat. The moral of this long story is, leave me alone when I shop. If I want your help I will ask for it.

Today my hubby bought this pretty little thing at Costco. I have a feeling it may have been a subtle hint that I need to get my act together and start makin my husband some food! He knew I won't just let it sit there unused, not for how much it cost!!

Jamie's house and 1 more crazy day with Boz.....

Yesterday Danielle and I went to visit our best friend Jam (pronounced JAME, but I spell it like Jam because that's how I like it).......(it's her new nickname from everyone apparently)......anyways! We took her some food and hung out for a while. We had a good time, even though I accidentally sat on her and hurt her belly wound. Sorry love!! Pictures below will show the pain I caused her. After we left, Boz and I went shopping once again because I needed new perfume, and took a few more awesome pictures for all to see. One day we will be kicked out of Target I'm sure. What the Witches?!

Last night my fellow I-42 mates and I (except for 1, I won't mention your name Jamie) went up to Gardner Village to shop, eat and chill with the billions of witches. It was witch night or something, I don't know what they call it, but so many people came dressed up as witches. They looked awesome! None of us dressed up and we were sad we didn't. We decided we will make this a tradition and go every year, and dress as witches!! I didn't get any great pictures of actual people dressed up, but there were some cute display witches I took pictures of. What a super time we had!!

Why the Long Face?

Yesterday was Jackie's day off and she wanted to go find a craft store she heard about. For some reason whenever we get together and try to find an address we end up in the wrong city, or no where near our destination. Well yesterday was no exception! We ended up driving around Provo for, not even joking, 2 hours looking for this stupid idot store!! After the first hour I wanted to give up and go eat but Jackie wouldn't stop until she found it. I started to get delusional with a hunger headache, and couldn't stop laughing! We were so pathetic driving around the city looking for this place!! Finally, we found it.....5 minutes after it closed. Jackie had a rage attack, and I haven't laughed that hard in a very long time!!!

Fall

This week has not been the best week in my life, but there is one thing that has cheered me up a bit.... FALL LEAVES. Fall is my favorite time of year. I love the leaves and the smell and the feel of fall. I also love Halloween! I have been to the canyon a few times this week to try and lift my spirits. If I could go back in time.......

If I could go back in time, I would go back to the start of my college career and take the classes I needed to become a graphic designer. I want to design wallpaper, fabric, scrapbook paper, etc. I have just discovered that this is the thing I want to do for a living. I just discovered it a few years too late!!!! Someday........

Olympics!!

I have never really paid much attention to the Olympics in the past for some reason, but this year I cannot get enough! I love seeing all of the events and how talented the people are! My favorite events to watch are gymnastics, diving and swimming. That relay that the mens USA team won was freakin amazing!! Go USA!!!

1 More Day!!!!

Tomorrow I will spend the day laying by the pool reading BREAKING DAWN!!!!! I can't believe it will finally be here, I am so excited!! Last night Chris and I were at Border's and there were already people camping out. Wow. I then spent fifteen min. eavesdropping on some girls conversation they were having about Breaking Dawn and all their theories on what is going to happen. Interesting group of girls they were! Anyways, CAN'T WAIT!!

Happy Pioneer Day!

Oh how I love my days off. Today Chris and I didn't wake up until 11:00, and when we got up we went to eat at P.F. Chang's for Breakfast/Lunch. It was yum yum.

Later Tonka and I went to the park so she could play with Jackie's new puppy Puff. Puff is loco and likes to latch on to any part of Tonka she can grab with her teeth. Tonka doesn't appreciate it, but won't defend herself! Wuss dog.






Tonight we are going to my parent's house in Cedar Hills to watch the amazing fire works from their deck, while eating delicious shakes from Purple Turtle!

Tomorrow.... back to work.

The Rodeo

Last night Chris and I went to the Rodeo in Spanish Fork with Chris's parents. Once the cowboys were done tackling and torturing baby cows, I was able to watch and enjoy! One of the most entertaining things was watching the little round boy next to me down a double cheeseburger, a huge thing of nachos, a soda and some candy. It was a good show!

Lately my mind has been preoccupied with two things....

1~ The Twilight series. I just read the first three books again and the fourth doesn't come out for another 2 weeks. I don't know what I am going to do until then, it is freakishly affecting my mood.

and...

2~ The most wonderful french toast on earth!! On Chris's birthday we went to Kneader's for breakfast and it ruined my life. I will now, always and forever crave the deliciousness that is Kneader's french toast! Get some, and be happy.

Jackie's Visions!

Every time I am with my sister Jackie she is talking about all the different types of pictures she wants to take and she has all these ideas running through her head! She lives for photography and I think it is so awesome. She really wanted to take some pictures of me in a colorful summer dress so a couple of weeks ago we were able to work out our crazy schedules and do it! I wanted to post some of the pics because I think she did a great job and I want to show off her talent and hard work! Good job Jack! You take a nice picture:)

The Tonks!

Tonka is my favorite little girl and she makes me so happy! She understands when I have sad days, fat days, ugly days, emotional days, hungry days, lazy days, hyper days, mean days, sick days, and all the other types of days girls have!! No matter what mood I am in she will always love me and want to be right next to me. If only men could be as understanding as dogs!!!

8 Little Quirks!

I got tagged a long time ago! Here it goes...

1: I organize messes instead of just putting things away. Like right now I am looking at a stack of unused picture frames (largest on bottom to smallest on top) sitting in the corner when they should be in the closet. I do it with everything.

2: I have to check the alarm on my phone before bed like 5 times to make sure it is set right. I'm so paranoid I'll be late for work.

3: I have to have gum in my mouth at all times. If I don't have it it's hard for me to talk to people because I don't want bad breath!

4: I have to knock on wood all of the time. My twin sis and I have been doing that since we were little. When we were afraid something might happen we would knock on wood, and I just never stopped doing it!

5: When I listen to my i-pod I only use one ear phone so I can sing along and hear if I sound like crap or not! I know that's lame, but yeah. And the weird part is that it always has to be in my left ear.

6: This may be gross to some people, but it's my life. If I have any sort of zit or scab on my face (from a zit), I have to scratch it off. Even though I know it will just make another one, and it will take longer to heal, I do it anyway. I just can't stand it being there. Annoying, I know.

7: Every morning when I drive to work I have to listen to the Boner of the Day candidates on X-96. It starts my day out right!

8: Any time I walk up stairs I count. And only when I walk up them, not down. Don't know why.

Today Chris and I took Tonka for a walk in the Provo canyon. We used to always go there when we were dating so it was fun to go and remember the fun times we had! The weather was perfect and it was good for us to get our out of shape butt's off the couch and do some walkin!

Lake Powell!

We just got back from a short but fun weekend vacation in Powell! The weather was amazing! The water was pretty cold but it felt good. I can't believe how fast time goes when you are having fun. The next thing you know you are home and have to work at 8 in the morning! But I'm glad we got the chance to go hang out with friends and fam and have some fun!

So here are two pictures of my new favorite antique store. The sad thing is that I will never be able to go there! It is in New York:( My goal is to someday be able to afford to go to New York, go to that store ( it's called the Faded Rose) and actually buy things in it! It's expensive and Chris hates when I buy decorations. One day though, I'll be there and it will be a happy day!!

Welcome home Elder Crawford!

Chris's brother Cameron got home from his mission about a week ago and today was his homecoming. Chris and I sang with my sister and dad so that was scary but fun, and Cameron did such a good job on his talk! He told some amazing stories. He had an awesome mission but we are glad he is home. If anyone knows any cute single girls let me know and we'll hook him up!

My Baby Girl!

My twin sister Jackie is a photographer and just called and asked me to bring my dog Tonka to her work so she could take pictures of her. For those of you who don't know, Tonka is a girl, she is a Shorkie, and she is my little baby! So I took Tonka to her first photo shoot :), where she wore her Halloween costume (she was a ballerina) and a little sweatshirt with a cupcake on it that says "SOOO SWEET!" I don't normally dress her up because Chris won't allow it! Anyway, Tonka did such a good job, and so did Jackie! I hope you enjoy her pictures!

Bowling!!

Today Chris and I went bowling with Melissa, Trevan and Asher. We kept telling Trevan that you don't have to win, you just do your best and have fun. Trevan did fine with that concept. Me... not so much. After each one of my turns I started to get a little bit more angry at the fact that I bowl like a failure. As the game went on I only got worse! And every time I turned around after a horrible throw, Trevan kept telling me I had to aim for the arrows and then it would go straight! How true that is. But I just couldn't do it. It was a good thing I was surrounded by innocent children because the words that were trying to come out of my mouth were not the good kind! But, eventually I accepted my poor bowling skills and was able to laugh at the way the ball curved to the right corner every time I threw it! Chris did really good and Trevan was happy that he could never get zero (like me) because he had bumpers! I really do love to go bowling and as long as it stays fun and never turns into a competition I think I'll be ok!

Our Date!

Last week Chris and I went on a real date! Since we have been married and so busy we don't get to do very much so it was fun to get out and be with each other for the night. His parents gave us tickets to go see Annie at Kingsbury Hall. First we ate at the Training Table (see picture of our awesome food), then went to the show! It was so good. Those crazy talented little girls blew my mind!! Anyway, good times. I think we will go on more dates!

The Zoo!

I have been wanting to go to the zoo for so long, so when my sister's told me they were taking their kids on Monday, I invited myself! I freakin love the zoo for some reason and I had so much fun hanging out with my nephews and watching them with the animals. Good times!

Hola

Happy Sunday everyone. This is the first time I have written on my blog! I suck. I started to write the other day but I had the flu and the screen was making me sick! I have spent the last 6 days laying still in my bed or on the couch trying not to do the most frightening thing I can imagine...throw up. Unfortunately I did and it made me sad, but I think I am past that point. Anyways, last weekend Chris and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary! We stayed at the Zermatt in Midway and spent most of our time shopping and eating in Park City. It was so fun to get away from work for a while and just relax. Then I came home and got deathly ill so awesome! But I'm starting to feel like I will live again so I'm happy. I hope you all have a good time watching conference!
