ANOTHER post about sewing.....

Sorry folks, my blog is basically just about Trey, sewing, and school! I do have a husband (love you:), but with both of us going to school and takin care of the child, we don't have many awesome adventures to talk about! So I tried to make a skirt a while ago, but I made it too big and screwed up on the zipper so I gave up and was just gonna throw it away. But I decided to give the zipper one more try and finish it even though its too big in the waist. So here it is, not ironed, but finished. My first piece of clothing:) Warning!! Extremely white skin involved, just don't look at it too long.

Quiet weekend

This weekend I don't think I ever left the house or got out of my pajamas! I played alot with Trey, did a little bit of homework, and tried to make a tote bag. There was a Harry Potter marathon on which I have been watching and I can't wait for the last movie!! (That whole sentence makes me look awesome). It was nice to relax a little bit, because now I have to start preparing for 6 finals and 3 group projects. Yipee!




I like the inside fabric better, now I wish I would have made it the outside!

Is it April yet?!

I am so happy that I am almost done with my third semester!! This semester has been pretty annoying because we have had so many group projects and busy work I feel like! Plus, lately all I want to do is make things. I want to sew all the time, but I don't really know how so I am kinda just teaching myself along the way. When the semester is over I get three weeks off and I want to take sewing lessons, so if anyone knows a good person or place I could go to that would be helpful:) Here are some pictures of a couple of the simple things I have made trying to figure out this sewing thing that I am falling in love with!!

Anywho, I love it, but I want to be able to make bags and clothes and anything I feel like, so hopefully I can take some good lessons over my break and become a little seamstress! PS: my baby is turning 1 in a month!! What?!
